Falling in love with a prisoner

How does it happen that you fall in love with your penpal who happens to be a prisoner serving a life sentence in America?

On today's Joe Finnegan Show, Dorothy told us that while she has never met Tom,who is 30 years her junior, she's been writing to him for over two years now.

''After a while I noticed these little hearts were coming on the letter, then I got one to say that he loved me''

She went on to say that while she didn't set out looking for love ''after a while, I fell in love with him too''
