Farewell to the King of country music

The King of country, an icon in the industry and a man of the people… Today we bid farewell to Big Tom who will be laid to rest in the village of Oram County Monaghan.

It’s a day for mourning but also a day to pay our respects and tributes to the humble and unassuming character who has entertained us with his music for over 50 years.

Tom McBride passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning surrounded by family – his beloved wife Rose – who was also well known on the country scene - left this world just a few months earlier.
