Mythology doesn’t just belong to the Greeks and the Romans. Indeed Ireland has a vibrant link to myth,folklore and early history.
Daragh Smyth is a retired lecturer from the Dublin Institute of Technology and he has written a book called earthing the myths a county by county guide to places in Ireland-and many from this region-connected to Irish Mythology.
He spoke to Eddie Butler on the Joe Finnegan Show.
