''Sometimes I'm ashamed to say I'm Irish because the hypocrisy is unreal''

On Tuesday’s show we spoke about Colin Brazier – the SKY news presenter – who asked those attending his wife’s funeral to leave their ‘Hawaiian shirts at home’

The father of six feels that funerals are not the place for a fashion parade and also made the point that children are not as capable as adults to rejoice in a celebration of life.

Mary from Cavan believes that it would be more beneficial ''if people showed at least a quarter of the respect to the living as they did when they were dead''

She believes many people turn up for the funeral who haven't visited the person for a very long time and went as far to say ''Sometimes I'm ashamed to say I'm Irish because the hypocrisy is unreal''

She joined us on the show Wednesday to share her opinion
