People in Cavan and Monaghan are being asked to remember those who died in farm accidents by getting involved in the Embrace Farm “Drive to Remember”.
The initiative is being supported by Macra Na Feirme and Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster with a tractor and link box visiting every county in Ireland to promote farm safety by collecting wellies.
Already this year, two people have lost their lives in farm accidents in the Northern Sound region.
The Drive to Remember tractor visited the Northern Sound Studio here in Monaghan yesterday, and our reporter Aaron McElroy spoke to those involved.
