With restaurants set to open on June 29th, the Vitners' Federation of Ireland are seeking clarification surrounding the opening of gastro-pubs.
Pubs are supposed to stay closed until August 10th, however, many gastro-pubs feel they should be allowed to open at the same time as restaurants as their business is predominantly food.
Fergus Murphy is a chef, and the owner of Murph's Bistro at the Derragarra Inn Butlersbridge, and he has been speaking on The Wider View about his intention to open at the end of next month.
