Conor McManus leading the way

Conor McManus leading the way for the Monaghan team as the countdown is on to the Ulster senior championship final.

On Saturday evening, in Croke Park, at 4pm, Monaghan and Tyrone will play to win their place in this year's All Ireland semi-final.

Both sides have registered 2 wins in the championship so far. Tyrone defeated Cavan and Donegal while Monaghan overcame Fermanagh and Armagh.

Monaghan's victory over the Orchard county was notable as the Farney side came from being 2 points down in the final moments to win by 2 with Conor McManus leading the way.

David McCague is a member of the Monaghan management team. He acknowledged the skill set and leadership the Clontibret club man continues to take to the county set up:
