The countdown is on for Cavan as they face Dublin in the All Ireland football semi final tomorrow (Saturday) at  5:30 in Croke park.

The countdown is on for Cavan as they face Dublin in the All Ireland football semi final tomorrow (Saturday) at  5:30 in Croke park.

The Dubs are odds on favourites to progress to another final as they look to claim a 6th Sam Maguire in as many years.

There had been some debate in regards to taking the semi final out of Croke Park due to Dessie Farrells sides familiarity with the ground, but that was quickly quashed by Cavan County board stating they had no issue with the venue.

However former Dublin manager Paul "Pillar" Caffrey stated that the GAA headquarters does provide a major advantage to the champions.
