The GAA are continuing to field criticism of their decision to host the return of games this weekend.

With the Border Counties now under Level 4 restrictions and visiting to Households banned nationally, the association have received a fair amount of flack in the past few days for their plans to return with National league fixtures this Saturday and Sunday.

Former Monaghan player Dick Clerkin is chairman of the Medical/Scientific and welfare committee and he is also a member of the GAA Covid 19 advisory group and he remarked that the association were not alone in making the decision to have the action return and they should be trusted with their call
