Leona Maguire finished in 46th place on 1 over par at the C.M.E Group tour championship in Florida over the weekend.
The Cavan golfer along with Stephanie Meadow became the first Irish ladies to tee off in the final round of the tour championship, with their mid leaderboard finishes very creditable among a high quality field.
Leona posted rounds of 73, 72 and 69 with a 75 on the final day, undoing some of her good work to finish 1 over par, while Meadow's opening round of 70 was cancelled out with a 76 in round 2, but she showed great composure to finish on 69 and a level par 72 to finish 1 under for the tournament.

Jin Young Ko topped the leader board on 18 under winning by 5 shots from Hannah Green and Sie Young Kim.
