Maguire opens with even par at Women's PGA Championship

Leona Maguire opened her KPMG Women’s PGA Championship with an even par round in John’s Greek Georgia.

Maguire opened with a bogey on the par four first before pulling that back with a birdie on the par five fifth. Another bogey on eight saw Maguire shoot a one over par 37 for the front nine.

On the back nine Maguire shot a birdie on the par five 12^th before adding a bogey at 13. A birdie at the par three 17^th saw Maguire sign for an even par round 72.

Lizette Salas is the first round leader on five under par with Siyu Lin, Yealimi Noh and Dani Holmqvist all on three under par.
