Monaghan County board will host their County convention online due to Covid 19 restrictions this evening.
Michael Owen Mc Mahon will step down as chairman and take over the role of Central Council delegate with, Declan Flannagan taking over the position of chair.
Declan's move from been vice chair, will see Brendan Casey taking over that role.
John Connolly has completed his 5 year term as an Ulster Council delegate with that position set to be filled this evening. Noel Duffy who is a current delegate, Marion Donnelly of the Emyvale club and Patricia Smith of the Killeevan club will be vying for the 2 seats available.
With Covid 19 having forced a re-scheduling of both club and intercounty games, with the majority been played behind closed doors, the financial report is reflective of that with a massive drop of income from almost 1.6 million in 2019 to just shy of €850,000 in 2020.
The main loss is centered around gate receipts which have dropped by €176,000 with fund raising activities falling short by €130,000.
On the expenditure front, match and team expenses have been reduced by €236,000.
