Monaghan Ladies will get their TG4 senior football championship campaign underway this evening in Parnell Park Dublin when they face Tipperary at 7:30pm.
The re-scheduled format of the competition, has seen 4 groups of 3 teams been formed with the top team from each group going through to the semi finals.
Tipperary lost out by a point to Galway last weekend and will require a result this evening to maintain their interest in the competition.
A victory for Monaghan would see them facing Galway next weekend in effectively a quarter final encounter.
Tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm Waterford take on Dublin in Baltinglass, a win for Dublin will see them into the last 4 as they overcame Donegal in the opening round.
Mayo and Tyrone face each other in Carrick on Shannon also at 1 tomorrow, with the Red Hand county needing a result to keep themselves in the competition after suffering a loss to Armagh last weekend.
While at 3pm, Cork take on Kerry in Austin Stack Park, where a win for the Kingdom will see them into the last 4 as they accounted for Cavan in the opening Round.
