Mullahoran got the better of Castlerahan in round two of the Cavan senior football championship after a might Castlerahan fightback.
Mullahoran won out 1-11 to Castlerahan’s 12 points, having led 1-8 to six points at half-time. Philip “the gunner’s” Brady goal on 22 minutes having put Mullahoran 1-7 to four points ahead.
Castlerahan weren’t done and fought back excellently in the second-half.

Four points in the third quarter to Mullahoran’s two, leaft it a three point game going into the final quarter.
Mullahoran were backs to the wall attempting to see the game out. Two points from Karl Cosgrove made it a one point game, but Colm O’Reilly 60th minute point was enough to seal victory for Mullahoran.
