Rounders success for Carrickmacross and Erne Eagles

Carrickmacross Emmet's of Monaghan won the delayed All-Ireland Senior Men's  Rounders All Ireland final on Sunday on a score line of 11-8 over Wexford's Glynn Barntown in Abbotstown. Indeed it was a good weekend for the teams of the Northern Sound region with  Cavan's Erne Eagles landing the senior mixed title beating the same Wexford opposition 14-12.
